my grandparents

Well...my mom has been with my grandparents for the past 4 days. (She got the call Wednesday night that her dad had a stroke.) My grandfather will be sharing a room with my grandmother at the nursing home. My mom's been taking care of paperwork, getting things settled with the lawyer, handing money issues, and a bunch of other important details. It's a very emotional time. My grandfater commented that he's going there to die - and he's right. BUT he'll be with my grandmother. My relationship with them has been a challenging journey, but I have no regrets. I've spent the past few years trying to "do the right thing" even if they don't. Now I just worry about my mom.
